Following site assessment studies and the decision for remediation, planning and assessment activities for cleanup are initiated. Within this scope:

• Determination of pollution load and dimensions on the site,
• Identification of the geological and hydrogeological structure of the site,
• Presentation and explanation of suitable remediation methods for the site (at least 3),
• Determination of the general objectives and criteria of the cleanup activity,
• Providing a cost projection file to inform the customer in advance.
• The cleanup process is advanced in the following manner in identified contaminated areas:
• Commencement of cleanup activities with the knowledge of the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanism, and Climate Change (ÇŞİDM) and related administrative authorities,
• Initiation of construction activities and equipment installation,
• Continuous data collection and analysis with monitoring equipment and remote monitoring system installed by ecotora in the field to minimize environmental and economic impacts of site visits,
• Sampling, instantaneous measurements, and controls are carried out by the ecotora team on-site if necessary,
• Sampling from the field at intervals determined by the Contaminated Sites Monitoring and Evaluation Commission convened at the Provincial Directorates, and evaluation of analysis results.

Throughout the process, all reports and correspondence, including the Site Remediation Activity Application and Monitoring Report, are prepared, and the processes of the Contaminated Sites Monitoring and Evaluation Commission are monitored.
